Categories of Members and Fee Levels ISTO HAS TWO CATEGORIES OF MEMBERS.
ACTIVE MEMBERS
Three levels of fees exist for active members such as defined in the statutes amended at the BITS General Meeting in Mexico in May 2002.
Level 1: 550 Euros
Any association, travel agency, holiday centres or structure facilities for tourism or other of the same nature as well as training organisations, acting at the local or regional level.
Any public or private organisation (other than the honorary member under public law) of country mentioned on the list fixed by the UN of the least developed country (whatever the level of intervention).
Level 2: 1100 Euros
Any organisation useful in tourism (whatever its activity and its statutes) having a national activity (within a unit country or of a state or a community belonging to a federal state) and not filling the criteria of level 3.
Level 3: 1650 Euros
Any federation or union of associations in tourism at the national level.
Any establishment or public corporation mainly involved in tourism whose intervention is extended at the national level (other than the Honorary member under public law).
Any international organisation, with which a particular agreement would not have been signed.
HONHORARY MEMBERS OF PUBLIC LAW
Honorary members of public law are legal bodies of public law who manage a public service linked to social tourism, that would benefit from prerogatives of public authorities that represent officially a state or a regional / local authority.
