Projects and Studies of the European Commission for Social Tourism (CETS)
The International Bureau of Social Tourism (BITS) and the European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions (EFFAT) have joined forces to carry out a study into employment in the social tourism sector in Europe. This study has been realized with the financial support of the European Commission.
The conduct of a survey has been entrusted to the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Tourisme, Territoires Sociétés (LITOTES) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). The results of this survey were presented at a conference organized in Blankenberge on November 24-25, 2008.
The final report prepared by LITOTES/ULB is now available, either by electronic version or printed version.
