An Introduction to the Calypso Project

In 2009, a new project called CALYPSO was launched by the Tourism Unit of The European Commission. The project aims to develop social tourism in Europe and aims to combat seasonality, strengthen the notion of European citizenship and to promote regional development besides facilitating the development of specific local economies.
